What to Expect
-
Students have space to hang out, meet people, and build real friendships with other students and trusted leaders.
-
Students experience worship and practical, biblical teaching that helps them understand their faith and live it out in everyday life.
-
Students have opportunities to talk about what they're learning, ask questions, and grow alongside leaders and other students. On Wednesday nights, groups are divided by grade and gender.
-
From games and theme nights to special events and trips throughout the year, there are plenty of ways to have fun and make memories together.
First Time at Youth?
Your first Wednesday doesn’t have to feel unfamiliar. Here’s what to expect from the moment you arrive until it’s time to head home.
-
Students can arrive as early as 6:00p and hang out in Backstage before service. Most students are dropped off in the back parking lot under the overhang, where our leaders will be ready to help with check-in and show you where to go.
-
Backstage is a space for students to hang out and connect before service with comfy seating, card games, ping pong, Nintendo Switch, Wii, and more. At 6:30p, we'll head into the sanctuary together for service.
-
Wednesday night programming ends at 7:45p. Parents can pick up students in the same back parking lot area where they were dropped off.
-
Come in whatever you're comfortable in! We simply ask students to dress modestly and appropriately, with no exposed chest or cleavage, exposed midriff, or excessively short shorts or dresses.
YOUTH PASTORS
Greyton & Calli Etheridge
Greyton and Calli love students and are passionate about helping them know Jesus, love His Church, and make a difference in their world. They believe every student deserves a place where they feel seen, known, and love, and they love getting to create that kind of community at One Youth.
Originally from Alabama, Greyton and Calli are both graduates of Southeastern University, where Greyton earned his MA in Ministerial Leadership and Calli earned her Master of Divinity. More than anything, they love serving the local church and getting to do ministry together.
