Position Title: Campus Manager
Employment Type: Contracted
Work Schedule: Estimated 45-55 hours per week (Campus Manager) + 12-15 hours per week (Campus Manager’s Support Staff to focus on Academy and other duties as assigned)
Benefits: No paid time off or vacation included.
Contract Duration: One year; renewal or termination with 60-day written notice by either party.
Salary: TBD based upon experience.
Role Summary:
The Campus Manager ensures the cleanliness, maintenance, and functionality of all campus facilities and grounds to support ministry activities, including One Academy. This role requires flexible hours and direct oversight of additional support staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Campus Presence:
o Maintain a flexible, on-site presence Sunday to Friday, prioritizing peak ministry times (e.g., Sunday mornings, Wednesday evenings).
Cleaning & Maintenance:
o Clean buildings per designated checklists.
o Steam clean floors monthly.
o Pressure wash sidewalks and exterior areas as needed.
o Monitor supplies and clean during/between services as needed.
o Maintain clean windows according to cleaning schedules.
Building Operations:
o Open and close (e.g. unlock/lock & arm) buildings on Sundays and Wednesdays (excluding weekday daycare) and for special events as needed.
o Restock materials in the sanctuary.
o Set up and tear down for ministry activities, weddings, and funerals, to include cleaning/resetting.
Repair & Maintenance Tasks:
o Complete basic repair requests (e.g. lighting, air filters, minor drywall work; painting, etc.).
o Handle more complex construction/renovation projects as capacity allows, without impacting routine duties.
Supervision & Management:
o Hire, pay, and manage support staff dedicated to One Academy cleaning (12-15 hours weekly).
o Interface with contractors, oversee their work, and manage facility rental agreements.
o Coordinate and manage volunteers assisting with campus responsibilities.
Security & Inventory:
o Respond promptly to urgent needs (e.g. security alarms, fire alarms, etc.)
o Order, maintain, and manage inventory of cleaning supplies for all buildings and stock relevant supply closets and areas.
Groundskeeping:
o Oversee landscaping and grounds maintenance tasks as needed with the potential of taking over lawncare in the future.
Other Duties:
o Perform additional responsibilities as assigned within the role’s capacity and priorities.
